Anderson is a smaller, potential scat-back at the next level who flashes good burst and quickness. He lacks ideal size but plays bigger than his marginal frame on film. While he does not produce a lot of yards after contact, he will it hit hard inside and does not shy away from contact. Despite his smaller size, he is at his best planting and accelerating downhill. Flashes a good burst of speed and suddenness out of his cuts. Shows he can slice through the seams just as they open and be a decisive in-line runner sliding through the cutback. However, he does lack between the tackles strength and power; struggles to break initial contact consistently. Displays adequate burst to the outside but does flash some stiffness laterally through his hips gearing down before cutting and is not overly elusive for a smaller back in space. Top-end speed is just adequate as well, he is more productive moving the chains with 10-15 yard bursts. Anderson does have very good hands and the body composition for a multi-purpose, scat-back type of runner at the next level. Could potentially contribute if used creatively in the spread.
