Scouts, Inc. Evaluation

Hall is a versatile, athletic receiver and defensive back. He has good size and exceptional ball skills. Very impressive from the slot receiver position. Runs very solid routes and accelerates out of his cuts. Runs the vertical and post corner routes the best from the slot position. Has very reliable hands and doesn’t break stride after catching the football. Elusive runner, once he has the football in his possession and has good but not great speed. Makes defenders miss in the open field and can turn a short reception into a big play. A very good middle-screen receiver that reads blocks well after the catch and finds creases in the defense. Just as impressive in the secondary and can play both safety and corner. Makes interceptions and break-ups as the deep centerfielder in Cover 3 because he is quick to read the quarterback’s release. He goes up in a crowd to make a play on the ball. Demonstrates the ability to run with a wideout in man-to-man at the corner position. He stays on the inside hip of the receiver on the takeoff in order to make the pass difficult to complete. Very solid in run support from the various coverages. He plants and drives to the football from correct angles. Physical when making the hit and often explodes through the tackle, while driving his legs after initial contact in order to finish the play. Hall will be a very good skilled player at either the receiver or safety position. The only thing he doesn’t possess is blazing speed.
