Inside Linebacker
Status: Verbal to Kansas
Scouts, Inc. Grade: 73

Scouts, Inc. Evaluation

Mundine is a solid defensive football player. He is mobile and has decent weight on his frame but height is a little bit of an issue for the defensive end position. Could very easily end up at one of the linebacker positions off the ball. Displays athleticism when rushing the passer and reacts instinctively to the football. can change direction and make good lateral cuts to keep leverage on the football. Quicker than fast with excellent feet and agility. Impressive on the inside slant move and can penetrate the seam. As a speed rusher off the edge comes off the ball a little high and indecisive at times. Other times runs right by offensive linemen before they can set up and anchor down. Mundine is a solid player with very good football sense and should be a very productive player at the next level with added bulk and strength.
