Chapman is a versatile athlete that is an impressive running back and defensive back. He has good quickness and above average speed. Size is an issue and will need to add some bulk and overall strength. A talented I formation tailback that is a good sprint draw and isolation running back. Reads his blockers well and can bounce the ball out or cut it back inside. Displays quick feet and can put moves on defenders in the openfield; tough to bring down when one on one. Slippery back that is faster than he appears and can kick it into a second gear when in traffic. A very skillful athlete that can jump, change direction and maintain balance. Breaks on the football quickly from the secondary and anticipates the passes to his zones. Solid tackler and will deliver a good hit despite not being the biggest defender on the field. Chapman has excellent agility and quickness and is a very competitive player that gives great effort. He will need to grow but has the talents to land on a collegiate roster and be a solid producer.
