Default Shot in the Dark...........Danny Hurley to..........

be prepped and primed for the Duke job when Coach K retires? You may laugh at me, but Coach K and the Hurley family have great ties plus if Danny ever takes the Duke job, Bobby will be the assistant coach at the school he loves and cherishes.

Let's also not forget all the recruiting ties the Hurley family has to the NJ/NY area schools and prep schools. I mean, with Danny now accepting the Rhode Island job this could be a possibility. He also needs to show success of course, but it could be a possibility! I wouldn't rule it out!!!!?????

Does anybody really see Johnny Dawkins, Tommy Amaker, Capel, Wojo, or Chris Collins taking over Duke after Coach K leaves? It's an interesting subject to say the least.

yes, i could see Wojo or Capel taking that job if the Hurley's don't pan out. it is pretty easy to imagine, actually.

If Duke keeps it in the family I believe mock turtleneck at ND gets a serious look.

That's interesting! Brey is already 52 so in 5 or so years he will pushing close to 60. That may be a little old, but Brey may be a short term pick to keep the program afloat. LOL!
