Yes. He said his upside is just off the charts along with his athleticism.

I think people are going to be really surprised when they finally see him play in games. If you read all of the preseason articles / rankings they all mention Ben. In my opinion he is the wild card for how far we can go next year. We know what we have in EJ, Jeff, and Travis hopefully they will improve some , but I think we have a good idea what to expect from them. If Ben can play to his talent level I think we will have a pretty special team again!!!

Eh, I'd rather not play anyone who left the conference just due to the principle. Things could have gotten really bad for the Big12 and us in particular, but obviously things are looking up.

But glad Boyle's been doing a good job and there's a lot of KU fans out there to go to the game.

The KC media and MU wants KU to play MU because it is in their best interests. But it is hard to find a KU fan that is not glad to be done with MU and their fan base.

The benefit is for the million or so KU fans in western Kansas and Colorado. I truly enjoyed every trip I made to Boulder when I lived in Denver for the Kansas games, it was the only game I usually got to see live every year. There are thousands of KU fans that got jobbed out of an annual game because CU left. Most KU fans in KC still have a chance to go see their Hawks play in Lawrence, but the ones in Denver and surrounding area's thats a much more difficult proposition.

Besides, its freaking Tad. Id rather do a Jayhawk a favor than those scumbags in Misery.

I stand corrected, there is the benefit about the fans. But Tad is a Buff now, not a Jayhawk. He keeps saying that Colorado is his dream job and he doesn't want to coach anywhere else. Colorado was tied with Iona in the rpi last year, I just think there are better programs we could schedule.

It's good for the fans in or near Colorado, but there are KU fans all over the country that would like to see the team play. So that, to me, isn't a terribly significant issue. The more important one is that it isn't at all a marquee game. Good game? Yes. Marquee game? No. It most likely won't help our SOS or RPI much (compared to the other match-ups we've been offered or could acquire). It probably won't create much buzz (depending on the date, it may not even be on television east of the Mississippi). And it most likely won't help with recruiting. There just aren't that many top-flight recruits in or near Colorado, and those outside of the area really won't have any overriding reason to watch it (if it is aired nationally).
