So basically it will be Wiltjer, Harrow & a bunch of talented freshman? No unibrows in that class. Should be an interesting year.

They need to buy in and play team basketball again
Must keep up the pressure on D
Noel will need to develop an inside game on O

This is a weak draft, you might as well go pro if you can.

I could see Terrence Jones and Marquis Teague coming back, those two can surely enhance their draft profile with another year at UK.
The rest would be complete buffoons to come back. Davis is the frikkin #1 overall pick, MKG is top 5, and Doron Lamb's draft stock will never be as high as it is right now.

I could make a case for all five returning..but, my rationale would be self serving..I thank these fine young men for their contributions and wish them well in their future careers..they will all be sorely missed..

No it's not, all those players who stayed because of the lockout. This is a very strong draft class.

They went to the final four...? I highly doubt unless Lamb and/or Jones stays UK has a final four caliber team next year.

It's not about how good you are... it's about how good you are compared to the rest of the country.

They were a four seed. They got hot had a good run in the tourney, but so did Butler. My statement was based more on the regular season- in my opinion the tourney is generally not a great measuring stick for how good a team was. They struggled for most of the season and got hot- I am expecting a team that will struggle at the start, but will have the potential to be a good team come tourney time. I do not expect a Final Four.

I believe they are leaving, but wouldn't the recruits coming in crap if they all stayed? Or maybe they are all coming back to give Cal his shot at 40-0. I wonder if any of the recruits change their mind if some stay?

I'm sorry but I cannot f'in STAND the term "buy in"....I'm not bashing you, the term just annoys me for some reason.
You either do what you do or you dont. Those guys got to Kentucky knowing they would be sharing the rock....its not like they went there not knowing there were 10 other top 10 guys there thinking they'd be putting up 30 a game and Cal had to break them all down and build them up to believe they had to play together...
Any good player with half a brain already knew that going into it...Its the Iverson/Kobe rule, you cant shoot the rock 40 times a game and win anything.
Like I said I'm happy for those kids and Cal finally got his title....but any coach worth his salt coulda won a title with that team, especially considering the state of college bball outside of a healthy UNC team.

Cal has had that kind of talent in multiple years but only won the title once because this group made the extra pass, looked for open players, and listened completely to what Cal wanted. Past teams with Wall and Knight and others have taken shots that could have been passed on for better shots or tried to finish at the rim when a dump off pass could have lead to an easy dunk. That is all I mean by buy in

Jones isn't coming back, his stock has dropped far enough with coming back to school. Jones made an absolute idiotic choice in coming back to school and it cost him $5-7M, add in he is a complete asshat when it comes to being coached, he's gonna be washed out of the league quick if his prissy attitude doesn't change.
