If the refs let them play I like our chances. Let me guess...so do you?

Both teams have crazy amounts of talent so, YES. I'm ok with losing, but losing without having our best players out there due to ticky tac fouls is not acceptable in the Final Four.

Ya if the refs rob us (as well as both NBA scouts and CBB fans in gerneral) of the opportunity to watch Thomas Robinson and Jared Sullinger bruise head to head, I will be so pissed.

if we don't beat Ohio State then Kentucky will win the title and this can't be allowed

Nothing against Ohio State, but I agree. If I'm 'the field' against Kentucky I think KU has the best chance to stop Kentucky because of Withey

Davis doesn't play well against "girthy" players. For example.. SULLY!!

Let's all hope that continues, we can't let Calipari's method of assembling a team be successful.

Anthony davis is great on the defensive end but on offensive he shoots top of the key jumpers and dunks.
Never seen him perform a post move on the block.
Tjones always drives from the top of the key he doesn't post as much either but he is quick so he can beat almost every big man off of the dribble.

Just rewatched the OSU game and have to say it was a lot closer than I remember it being down the stretch. They played well in our house and without Sullinger. That said, our team has progressed a ton since then (as has OSU I'm sure).
I think with Sully in there this time around, it will be a very, very close game. I'm worried about DeShaun going off on the offensive end. Either way, looking forward to it and definitely agree that we need someone to beat Kentucky if Louisville can't.

Yes, tjones is good but I hate his attitude on the court. Nba guys will put him in his place his rookie year. There is a reason he didn't go pro right after his frosh year.

Exactly. TRob punked him big time in New York. I remember at the beginning of the season a reporter asked Thomas about Jones, and he just started laughing and didnt answer the question. He thinks he's soft. If you hit that guy in the mouth (figuratively speaking) he'll disappear. See the Indiana game...

+1
He definitely looks like a guy who could go "Postal" at some point in his life. For his sake I hope he takes his meds...otherwise, I see a major meltdown in his future.

Neither team is great from outside. I think the team that shoots a better percent from 3 will win the game.
Both teams will play well inside and I think that becomes a wash. I think both teams will turn the ball over a few times due to pressure from the D. So to me the difference is outside shooting. I don't think it is necessarily the team that makes more threes but the team that shoots a better percentage from 3. Both teams need to focus inside and hit the open opportunities outside that come from it.
Buford and Thomas can both hit but have had problems this season doing so and Craft is not really a threat outside but more of a facilitator. Taylor couldn't make a three at all in St Louis but KU got a couple from EJ and Releford and our 3 pt specialist can't seem to hit anything outside of Allen Fieldhouse.

Of course I want KU to win, but come Monday, I will be supporting the winner of the KU-OSU game. If that team is OSU, so be it.

Craft has reached double figures in scoring 18 times this season and tends to try to score almost entirely when it is needed. Many of his double-figure games are against some of the tougher OSU opponents. Many of his single-figure games are against thoroughly defeated OSU opponents. There is an element of "scoring at will" in the sense that when he is needed to score he almost always does, mostly at times in the flow of a game when it's most needed. IMO these two strong defenses make it very hard to anticipate who, if anyone, will be able to score "at will." Each of the ten starters has and could again score 15+. Most have scored 20+ one time or another.
