Kansas was lead by Travis Releford’s 19 points on Saturday night inside Allen Fieldhouse against American. Releford went 7-8 from the field, 5-6 from three and added three assists just because. Naadir Tharpe continued to play well as he led the Jayhawks with 12 assists (8 in the first half) to go along with 9 points and 0 turnovers. Jeff Withey was on the good end of many of Tharpe’s 12 assists as he chipped in 11 points and 4 blocks.
