Because he’s really, really, really good. 2014….errrr….maybe soon to be 2013 SF Andrew Wiggins wants the Jayhawks to hop on his recruiting train. Ummmm – ok – that’s not a problem. Wiggins is a superstar and arguably the best player in the country no matter what class. His ability to shoot, defend multiple positions, create with the ball and of course destroy rims has made Wiggins the players every school in the country would love to see wearing their uniform in the very near future.
It’s not that Kansas wasn’t, or hasn’t, recruited Wiggins. It’s that it appeared to set in stone that Wiggins would come down to either Florida State or Kentucky so it’s certainly understandable why schools wouldn’t invest a lot of time and travel into recruiting a player that appeared to already know where he would ultimately commit to. Hold the phone…….it seems that Wiggins would like to see what else is out there and what else is out there is pretty good.
