Freshman Zach Peters will not be practicing with the team for the next month after injuring his left shoulder. Kansas coach Bill Self comments about Peters and his injury.

“Zach Peters will not be participating in practice for approximately the next month. He has a rotator cuff injury in his left shoulder that is non-surgical, therefore, he will be held out of all contact. We are hopeful that he’ll be back on the practice court sooner rather than later. Zach will still be participating in other team activities. It’s been a nagging injury that has been bothering him over time that has affected his ability to play on the court. We feel he should make a full recovery with time and rehab,” said Coach Self about Peters and his injury.
