The Kansas offense sputtered a bit last Saturday against a feisty South Dakota State Jackrabbits teams that pestered the Jayhawks all night. Luckily, this Kansas offensive line imposed their will on the Jacks defensive front and kick started the Jayhawks rushing attack to the tune of 286 total rushing yards.
So what does this Kansas offense believe they can do against Rice? May be a bit more of what we saw last week after UCLA gave Kansas some good game tape on how to rush against a Rice team that gave up 343 yards on the ground last Saturday. But this is not the same defensive front that Kansas saw last week by a long shot so some of the Kansas offensive players break down what the differences will be this week.
Talking today are Wide Receivers Coach Rob Ianello, Offensive Line Coach Tim Grunhard, running back Tony Pierson, Tight End Mike Ragone, and Offensive Linemen Tanner Hawkinson, Duane Zlatnik, and Trevor Marrongelli.
