By this point in camp there is no question who the starting signal-caller will be—that was a lock the moment Dayne Crist stepped onto KU campus. But with Crist’s history of injury problems this battle at the number two quarterback spot may be one of the best in camp. During the spring I thought sophomore transfer Turner Baty was the hands down favorite but after talking to Kansas coaches this week you get the sense that this battle is closer than we all thought.
