Kansas Defensive Coordinator Dave Campo had a monumental rebuilding task when he arrived on KU’s campus during the winter months. Nearly every cabinet was bare and the prospect of winning football, let alone a shutdown defense, seemed light-years away. But after some fast and furious recruiting this defensive roster is starting to take shape and appearing much feistier than they did even last spring. Coach Campo talked about the several reasons to be optimistic as the Jayhawks football team continues to drive toward a September 1, home opener.
