Kansas’ men’s basketball game against Michigan State on Tuesday, Nov. 13, will be part of ESPN’s College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon, ESPN announced Wednesday.

The Jayhawks-Spartans contest is part of the Champions Classic – featuring Kansas, Michigan State, Duke and Kentucky – that will be played at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. The KU-MSU game will air at 6 p.m. (Central) followed by the Duke-Kentucky contest. ESPN’s College GameDay, originating from the Georgia Dome at 5 p.m. (Central), will lead into the Kansas-Michigan State contest.

This is the second year of a three-year cycle for the Champions Classic and the second-straight year the event has been part of the ESPN College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon. Last year the Kansas-Kentucky game in Madison Square Garden in New York was part of ESPN’s 24-hour coverage. In Nov. 2013, the Champions Classic moves to the United Center in Chicago.  Kansas will play Duke and Michigan State will face Kentucky.
