2013 PG Anthony Barber likely will make his college decision before his senior season begins this fall, but it could come much sooner than that if he finds the right fit for him in the next couple of months. The 6’3″ PG currently has four schools that he plans to take a closer look at before making his decision and, at least right now, to visit all four before making his decision. With the summer circuit quickly coming to an end Barber can now spend more time on his recruitment in hopes of making his decision sooner than later.
NC State, Alabama, Louisville and Kansas are the four schools that Barber said he is currently considering. According to Barber, he does plan on visiting all four schools soon before making a decision but should he find the school for him sooner he could very well announce without visiting the remaining schools on his list.
“We’ve been on the road a long time and it will be nice to get some rest,” said Barber about the summer coming to an end. It just depends on how I feel. If I feel good I will do it [announce early] and if I don’t I’ll wait,” added Barber about making his college decision in the near future.
At Peach Jam Barber continued to show why so many consider him to be at the top of the PG rankings in 2013. He averaged 12.4 ppg and had little trouble driving to the rim, getting out in transition, creating off the dribble and locking up his man on defense.
