Jayhawk Nation needs little encouragement to fill any stands in any gym for the chance to see their Jayhawks take the court. The Rock Chalk Roundball Classic on Thursday night not only gave fans a chance to watch some of their favorite former Jayhawks in action, it also raised money to benefit three local families that are currently battling cancer. The chance to see former Jayhawks is certainly enough motivation for Kansas fans to come out to Free State High School in Lawrence, but coming together in support of their fellow members of Jayhawk Nation to help in any way they can is what makes the Kansas fan-base so special.
