The Kansas Jayhawks had little trouble with the Texas Tech Red Raiders on Saturday night winning 83-50. The first half seemed like a breeze for Kansas as they went into halftime up 44-22. The Jayhawks outscored Tech 9-0 in second chance points, 11-4 off turnovers, 14-6 in the paint and 13-2 in bench points. But just like in previous games Kansas took their foot off the pedal in the second half which made the game sloppy and tough to watch.
Kansas did continue to have good production from their bench in the second half as the Jayhawks outscored Tech 31-10 during the game. Outside of that, Kansas struggled to get any sort of flow during the half but played well enough on defense to keep Tech from making it any sort of game.
