The Texas Tech Red Raiders ride into Lawrence, KS this Saturday at 11 to kick off the start of Big 12 season. After their forgettable 22-66 lost to Georgia Tech, not many are giving Kansas much of a chance for victory but you shouldn’t count these Jayhawks out yet—here’s 5 reasons why.
1. Stopping Seth Doege
The play of Kansas Quarterback Jordan Webb has been nothing short of beyond expectation but the play of Texas Tech quarterback Seth Doege has been out of this world. Doege has thrown 115 passes over a 3-game span without throwing a single interception. Although this Kansas defense has been porous in 2011, both they and Doege are due for some turning of luck.
