Class of 2013 SF Ishmail Wainright (Raytown, MO/Raytown South, pics) informed TheShiver.com via text on Thursday night that he has decided to open his recruitment back up after originally committing to the Missouri Tigers in early May. Wainright, who was the second recruit to verbal to Missouri in the Frank Haith era, still has Missouri has one of the schools he will continue to consider but wants to go through the entire recruiting process before making his final college decision. Lindsay signs with KU
TheShiver.com reported on Tuesday that Moreno Valley, CA native Mervyn Lindsay was expected to join the Kansas basketball program in the coming days, and on Wednesday, that’s exactly what happened. Checking in on Landen Lucas and Brandon Ashley
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – In its search for big men in the class of 2012, Kansas is pursuing a pair of players from the West Coast. While at NBPA Top 100 Camp, both Brandon Ashley of Bishop O’Dowd (CA) and Landen Lucas of Findlay Prep (NV) told The Shiver they hold offers from the Jayhawks.
In addition to KU, 6-foot-10, 235-pound center Landen Lucas also listed offers from each school in the Pac-12 “besides UCLA and Utah” as well as Vanderbilt, Harvard, Tennessee, Georgia Tech, and Florida State. Read the rest of this entry »
Gabe York Update
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – While at NBPA Top 100 Camp, class of 2012 combo guard Gabe York spoke with The Shiver about where things stand with his recruitment. The 6-foot-2, 180-pounder out of Orange Lutheran (CA) said he is down to a list of 10 schools vying for his services.
