Senior night at the Phog. Aggies stand in way of perfect night.
Texas A&M will visit Phog Allen Fieldhouse tomorrow night to take on the Jayhawks in one of two games left for Kansas before wrapping up the regular season. The game tips off at 8:00 Central time and can be found on ESPN2. This game is also Senior Night for the Jayhawks, a final night that gives both fans and senior players a chance to say thanks for the memories. Two of the seniors, Tyrel Reed and Brady Morningstar, are both local Kansas basketball prodigies; Morningstar is actually a Lawrence product. Mario Little is the other senior being sent off by fans tomorrow night. In a season where the Jayhawks have been molding a highly touted freshman guard and dealt with the suspension of Tyshawn Taylor, Little, Reed and Morningstar have put their stamps on a season that has clearly exceeded even the high standards of this historic program. Senior night at the Phog is always sure to appeal to every fan’s emotions, as well as conjure up a legion of memories for both fans and players.
