6’9″ Hoover High School Senior, Angelo Chol (Video, Pics) will hold a press conference on Thursday, February 17th @ 12:45 p.m. (pacific time) in the Hoover High School Auditorium to announce his choice for college. Currently, Angelo is down to the following five schools: University of Arizona, University of Kansas and the University of North Carolina.
Angelo is currently within 39 points of 2,000 career points as well as ranking #2 all-time in California for rebounds. Angelo also is #2 all-time in USA history in career blocked shots and the national record holder for a single season with 337 blocked shots in the 2008-2009 season. This year, Angelo has led Hoover to a record of 21-6 and a 4th consecutive Eastern League Championship. Angelo was the 2009 California State Sophomore of the Year.
