The University of Kansas announced today that KU graduate Sheahon Zenger will now serve as Athletic Director. He is currently the Atheletic Director at Illinois University. More information here.

The Miami of Ohio RedHawks are coming to town. For those not familiar with the RedHawks and don’t feel like reading much, here is all you need to know:
1) The only chance they have at winning this game falls into the “that’s why they play the game” and “anything can happen” and “any given Sunday” category. Well, maybe not the last one, but you get the idea.
2) They are the other Miami, the one without bikini-laden beaches, palm trees, and Gloria Estefan. Otherwise known as the reactionary response “oh you mean the other Miami.”
