University of Kansas Head Coach has made it known that winning the recruiting battle in the state of Kansas is a big priority for the Jayhawk program. The Jayhawks currently have have commitments from six players from the sunflower state in Dylan Admire, Phil Ford, Victor Simmons, Adonis Saunders, Ben Heeney and Dreamius Smith. The Kansas staff would like to add one more Kansas player to their class, Kapaun Mt. Carmel Defensive End Michael Reynolds.
Reynolds has flown under the radar this year, but coaches are starting to notice the athletic defender after a standout year. Kansas and TCU, the current Rose Bowl Champs, are the teams that Reynolds is most focused on at this point. Kansas State and Oklahoma State are also on his list of potential teams.
“It’s close to home,”said Reynolds about Kansas. “Good program that is building with coach Gill, and I have chance to play early. I liked the coaches a lot,” added Reynolds about what he likes about KU.
The 6’4 220 pound playmaker is going to take his official visit to Lawrence on the 22nd, after which he would like to make his college decision.
