ishmail-wainrightBefore the Kansas versus UCLA game last Thursday night most thought the highly ranked Jayhawks could have little trouble putting away the Bruins. However, the Bruins were only one foul call away from earning an extra five minutes to end the Kansas home court winning streak.

With the game so close between the two traditional blue bloods, recruits that attended the game had the opportunity to experience the environment inside Allen Fieldhouse from beginning to end.

One recruit that loved every second of his time spent inside the historic Fieldhouse is 2013 SF Ishmail Wainright(Raytown, MO/Raytown South Video).

“The game was something else!” “They (ref’s) should send it to overtime,” he added.

As for the atmosphere of Allen Fieldhouse and the crowd inside, Wainright was simply blown away.

“Oh my goodness,” said Wainright. “It was crazy!”

Although it will likely be sometime before the class of 20134 product makes his final college decision, he does already have a list of schools that he’s seriously considering.

“Baylor, West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Missouri, Kansas, UCLA, UMKC, Texas, St. John’s and I love Kentucky,” said Wainright.

Wainright, along with 2012 prospect Perry Ellis, can be seen on December 18th at the HyVee Shootout in Kansas City. Earlier on that same day Kansas fans will get their first look at freshman Josh Selby for the first time this season.
