Four-star quarterback Brock Berglund (Highlands Ranch, CO/Valor Christian Video) confirmed with TheShiver.com on Monday that he has made a verbal commitment to the Kansas Jayhawks. Berglund was previously committed to Colorado, but the Buffs look to be making major changes now that former CU coach Dan Hawkins was fired shortly after losing to Kansas this past season.
“Yes I sure did,” say Berglund via text about his verbal commitment to Kansas.
According to Berglund, the Kansas coaches played a major role in his decision to join Jayhawk Nation.
“The people. Specifically coach Gill, coach Long and coach Shealy,”said Berglund. “The offense as well as the opportunity,” he added.
Berglund could end up at Kansas as early as January, but as of right now that decision has not been made.
