Missouri 6A
Darrian Miller and Blue Springs lost to Rockhurst for a second time this season 7-0 on Friday night. Miller had 143 yards on 34 carries, Blue Springs is now eliminated from the playoffs.
Kansas 6A
Victor Simmons, Adonis Saunders and Olathe North defeated Olathe South 17-0. Saunders had 27 yards on 13 carries. Up next is a rematch with the only team to beat Olathe North this year, Olathe East, in the Semifinals.
Dreamius Smith and Wichita Heights won a close game with Junction City 18-15. Smith ran for 106 yards on 15 carries including 2 TDs (10, 49). Up next is Dodge City in the Semifinals
Kansas 5A
Ben Heeney and Hutchinson defeated Emporia 33-7. Heeney had 197 yards on 33 carries including 4 TDs (1, 1, 3, 13). Up next is Bishop Carroll in the Semifinals.
Oklahoma 2A
Jake Love and Tonkawa lost to Jones 34-7 on Friday night.
Arkansas 5A
Jason Hensley and Alma defeated Beebe 34-14. Up next is Fairview in the Quarterfinals
Arkansas 4A
Travis Bodenstein and Shiloh Christian continued their dominance this year with a 49-7 victory over Warren. Up next is McGehee in Round 2.
Texas 5A D2
Damon Martin and Arlington defeated Abilene 31-28. Up next is Coronado in Round 2
Jacorey Shepherd and Mesquite Horn defeated Texas Power Copperas Cove 48-14. Up next is the winner of Rowlett/Dallas Jesuit.
Illinois 7A
Luke Luhrsen and Wheaton Warrenville South defeated Wheaton North 44-0. Up next is Glenbard West in the Quarterfinals
Chris Robinson and Lake Mary defeated Winter Springs 21-0. Robinson took an interception for a TD (42).
Bryan Peters and La Mirada defeated Bellflower 33-20.
