DSC_1047It was another great weekend for Kansas recruits on the gridiron this weekend. TheShiver.com gives you a look at how the Kansas players did this past weekend.

Dylan Admire and Blue Valley West battled with fellow Kansas commit Phil Ford and Bishop Miege. In the end Miege was too much for West and won 42-28. 
 
Darrian Miller and Blue Springs blanked Lee’s Summit North 19-0. Miller had 126 yards on 28 carries and 3 TDs of 1, 3, and 22 yards. Miller saw some time on defense once again this week, as an outside linebacker and saftey. Bernard Thomas had 5 pass break ups that helped the Wildcats shut out North.
 
Victor Simmons and Olathe North defeated Shawnee Mission Northwest 31-29. Simmons had a 10 yard TD run and once again flew around the field from his safety position.
 
Dreamius Smith and Wichita Heights stay undefeated with a 77-0 drubbing of Wichita South. Smith finished with 105 yards on 12 carries and 4 TD’s of 5, 11, 14 and 47 yards. This was Smith’s first game back since serving his one game suspension. His teammates, Evan Wessel, came up big with a blocked FG and return during the game.
 
Kansas commit Jake Love and Tonkawa defeated Alva 51-19.

Kansas commit Travis Bodenstein and Shiloh Christian defeated Prairie Grove 49-14.

Kansas commit Jason Hensley and Alma shut-out Harrison 39-0. It was Hensley’s second game back from injury. highlights

Alex Matlock and Pflugerville defeated McNeil 46-36 on Friday night.
 
Damon Martin and Arlington defeated Weatherford 38-14. A scary moment for Damon Martin when he was hit in the head and it appeared he suffered a neck injury. But it turned out he only had neck spasms. martininjury
 
Michael Cummings and Killeen defeated University 49-7 Cummings went 9-16 with 205 yards and 2 TDs(20,66 yards). He also had 2 rushing TDs (4,6 yards) and was named “Mr. Roo”  at halftime of the game.
 
Kansas commit, Jacorey Shepherd, and his Mesquite Horn team defeated Tyler Lee 28-14. Shepherd filled in for Horn’s injured starting QB and ran for 75 yards and a TD. He also returned a punt for a TD, but it got called back after a penalty. He did such a good job at QB that his coach has informed him he will continue to start at QB even when their starting QB makes his way back from injury.
