LAWRENCE, Kan. – The color pink won out in favor of crimson and blue Thursday night, as hundreds of women gathered in Allen Fieldhouse to participate in Ladies Night Out with Bill Self.

The event benefitted Jayhawks for a Cure and all proceeds from Ladies Night were donated to Lawrence Memorial Hospital and the KU Cancer Center in an effort to fund cancer research. Breast cancer survivors, supporters and women from the community were given a crash course on basketball and an inside look at what it’s like to play for the University of Kansas. Miller to Kansas, again

Darrian-2The Kansas Jayhawks landed the top running back in the midwest, again, on Monday evening when Darrian Miller (Blue Springs, MO/Blue Springs video 1, video 2) once again committed to the Kansas Jayhawks. Miller re-opened his recruitment earlier in the year after announcing his intentions to attend Kansas last spring, but after taking a look at other schools, Miller once again decided Kansas was the place for him. Saunders is bringing his speed to KU

saunders and shealyThe Kansas Jayhawks received their 17th commitment on Monday when Olathe North DB/ATH, Adonis Saunders made the decision to attend the University of Kansas next fall. Tharpe Visits Kansas
