adonisIt’s mid August and the Kansas basketball coaching staff is still looking to secure their first commitment in the 2011 class. It’s not uncommon to not have a commitment by mid August, but in today’s college basketball world, it seems that schools are securing commitments earlier and earlier. The Jayhawks have enjoyed the stress free life of early commitments recently as well when they secured a verbal commitment from 2012 forward, Zach Peters earlier this year. However, it’s not the fact that the Jayhawks don’t have any commitments for the 2011 class, it’s the fact that there seems to be so many players that the coaching staff is still recruiting that has Kansas fans scratching their heads when trying to figure out who could be the first to join Jayhawk Nation.
