LOS ANGELES — The UCLA skills camp is always one of the better stops on the evaluating circuit. Although many of the elite West Coast prospects were not in attendance, that didn’t stop 6-foot-5 national sleeper Josh Richardson (video) (Edmond, Okla./Santa Fe) from exhibiting his versatile offensive game. While Richardson was dazzling the number of scouts in attendance with his assortment of skills, 6-5 Victor Robbins (Compton, Calif./Compton) displayed an innate ability to score in a variety of ways. Chol highlights Day 3 of Nike Academies
CHICAGO — There was a strong finish to the workouts, as the first session of the Nike Skills Academy concluded. Nike has spent the last seven years creating this first-class basketball academy and the departed players have vastly improved and become students of the game. Much of the credit goes to academy director Jeff Rogers and his outstanding staff for all their hard work. The kids benefited greatly from this experience.

Q&A with KU target Phil Ford
Bishop Miege offensive lineman, Phil Ford, picked up the offer he’s been waiting for late last week when the Kansas Jayhawks offered Ford the long awaited scholarship offer. With offers from Kansas and Minnesota now in the books, Ford will now wait for additional offers that are surely coming his way before he makes his college decision. Big 12 North rivals on list for Saunders
Olathe North (KS) defensive back, Adonis Saunders, has plenty of time before he needs to make his college decision, and he’s in no hurry. The 6’0″ 185 pound speedster currently has Kansas, Nebraska, Kansas State and Nebraska as the schools that make up his list, but according to Saunders, none of those schools have separated themselves from the pack.
