Recruits getting closer to decisions

The NCAA Tournament won’t be the only thing creating madness in March for college basketball coaches and fans in 2010. The 2010 recruiting class will also be creating madness for fans across the country as some of the top prospects in the country find themselves getting closer to making a college decision. With only one player sigend in the 2010 class, 6’2″ combo guard Royce Woolridge, Kansas coaches and fans will be enjoying the madness of the tournament while keeping a close eye on the recruiting madness that is about to take place.

Kansas falls to #2
On March - 1 - 2010
For only the 4th week in the 2009-2010 season, the Kansas Jayhawks are not the #1 team in the land. Saturday’s loss at Oklahoma State handed the Jayhawks their first loss in the Big 12, and cost the Jayhawks their #1 ranking. Syracuse, who is 27-2 this season, jumped from #4 to #1 after blowing out Villanova at home on Saturday night. Syracuse now will look to end the regular season as the #1 team after hosting St. John’s on Tuesday and traveling to Louisville (19-10) on Saturday. Both of Syracuse’s loses have come at home this season, including one to Louisville on Valentine’s Day. Their other home loss was to Pittsburgh (22-7) on January 2nd. Both Kansas and Kentucky also have two loses on the season, and have remained undefeated at home.
