The #8 player in the ESPNU 100, Josh Selby, will not be able to make the trip to Lexington, Kentucky this weekend as he had originally hoped. Due to schedule conflicts that both sides had hoped would be worked out, Selby and his mother, Maeshon Witherspoon, will look to set up another date for Josh to officially visit Kentucky.
The delay could potentially cause Selby to push back the planned return trip to Kansas on February 13th since that is the one date on Selby’s schedule that was open for a trip. With the UK visit being pushed back, Selby might have to use that date in order to visit Lexington. Either way, according to Witherspoon, a return visit to Lawrence is something that they hope to do before the Jayhawks’ home schedule is complete.
Selby has a trip to Arizona planned for the weekend of January 8th, the same weekend that the #33 ranked player in the ESPNU 100, Doron Lamb, will be visiting the Wildcats.
