The #8 ranked player in the ESPNU 100, Josh Selby, will see a little crimson and blue later today when Kansas head coach Bill Self makes his way to Lake Clifton High School (MD) to check in on the 6’3″ 180 pound point guard from Baltimore.
With upcoming visits in January to Kentucky (2nd), and Arizona (9th) will both be official visits for Selby. During the visits Selby and his mother, Maeshon Witherspoon, are hoping to get a fair comparison after already unofficially visiting Kansas and Indiana earlier this fall.
The possibility of a return visit to Kansas and Indiana still remains for both Selby and his mother. Witherspoon is hoping to see the January 25th game versus Missouri in Allen Fieldhouse. Right now it is still unknown if Selby can work out his schedule with school and his team commitments for that date. Both Selby and Witherspoon are hoping to find a date that works for both of them and Kansas for his official visit if the January 25th date ends up not working out. Indiana could also get a return visit should a date become available for Selby and the Hoosiers.
