For those of you that did not attend the “Toys for Tots” charity event two years ago at the Peanut on Shawnee Mission Parkway, it’s time to gear up and support a wonderful foundation with lasting effects. Our local Marine Corp as well as national and local celebrites will be honorees at Challengers Sports Bar & Grill, December 14, 2009 at 7:00pm located at 9617 W. 87th Street, Overland Park KS (formerly know as Arizona’s) 913-341-2000.

Chuck Tabor, owner of Challengers has worked with the “Toys for Tots” foundation in years past with enormous success. Mr. Tabor quotes, “We are so lucky that in tough economic hardships we are in today, to be able to help children that are not as fortunate. To be able to offer hope and smile to a young child’s face, there’s nothing better in this world!”

Please help us support a wonderful foundation that will warm your heart knowing you have put a smile on a young child’s face. Toys of $10 of greater value or cash donations will be gladly accepted!!
