ncb_u_collins_576With the annual Kansas basketball kick-off celebration two weeks from today (October 2nd) fans all over Jayhawk Nation are starting to feel that itch for basketball season. Lucky for them, it’s right around the corner.

One reason that the Kansas program has consistently remained one of the top basketball programs in the country, is because of the recruiting efforts of Bill Self and the rest of his Kansas coaching staff. With multiple days and nights away from home and their families, the Kansas staff does a fantastic job of showing recruits and their families why Kansas is a great place for any student athlete.

One of the best tools the Kansas program has, is the annual ‘Late Night in the Phog’ celebration. With skits, performers, a scrimmage, and of course the fans, the Jayhawks have a unique opportunity to show recruits why Kansas is a special place.

While not every Kansas recruit has the opportunity to visit, officially or unofficially, during ‘Late Night,’ every recruit that visits does have the opportunity to experience what the University of Kansas, and the Kansas basketball program, is about.

Check out who will be visiting Kansas in the coming weeks
