6’2″, 221 pound linebacker prospect, Aaron Harris, appears to be getting closer to receiving an offer from the Kansas Jayhawks. At least that’s what he hopes will happen in the coming weeks. Harris has often thought about going to the same school as his current teammate and friend, Jacoby Walker, who committed to the Jayhawks back in June. With a visit to Kansas rival, Missouri, just a few weeks away, Harris is wondering if the Jayhawks will extend the offer before he heads to Columbia on October 23rd.
“Yeah, because I’m graduating in December and I want to hurry and make a choice,” Harris said about Kansas needing to quickly offer him.
With an offer from the California Bears already, Harris will be making a trip to Columbia, Missouri later this month to see what the Tigers have to offer.
“Cal has offered, and I will be visiting Missouri on October 23rd,” Harris said.
Harris is wondering what his situation will be like if the Tigers extend an offer to him before the Jayhawks. That potential offer is something that could make his situation a little more difficult for the linebacker who wants to decide in the coming weeks, not months.
“I don’t know,” Harris said about what his thought process would be should the Tigers offer during his visit. “I really like the Jayhawks,” added Harris.
