Chaminade College Prep junior quarterback, Christian Suntrup, picked up his third offer on Monday when he opened a letter from the University of Kansas. The 6’3″, 200 pound quarterback from St. Louis is now eager to learn about the Jayhawks football program as well as the University as a whole.
“Yes, I received it in the mail yesterday,” Suntrup said about the scholarship offer from Kansas.
The Kansas offer is the third for Suntrup, who also has received offers from schools in the Big 12 and Pac 10.
“I currently have written offers from Nebraska, Standford and Kansas,” said Suntrup of the schools that have offered.
Although Suntrup hasn’t been to Lawrence, it’s a trip that he plans to make in the near future.
“I have not been to KU, but I plan on attending soon to get to know the school and campus,” Suntrup said of visiting Kansas.
Suntrup is also eager to check out the Kansas football program, a program he feels is getting better every year.
“From the looks of it, the program looks strong and is only getting better every year,” Suntrup said about the Kansas football program. “I am excited to get to know them better,” added Suntrup.
In addition to the offers that he’s received, Suntrup also has interest from Missouri and Notre Dame.
