College basketball coaches were out in full force today as the Hoop City Top 24 kicked off inside Okun Fieldhouse in Shawnee, Kansas. Coaches from UCLA, Michigan State, Louisville, Ohio State, Missouri, Kansas State, and many more filled the coaches’ stands to check out some of the top talent around the country.
Cameron Clark didn’t disappoint coaches or fans as he lead his Team Texas Elite team to victory over the Playground Elite Wednesday evening. Clark had little trouble displaying his ability to get to the rim with just a couple quick dribbles. Multiple times throughout the game, Clark would explode past his defender for a lay-up or a little 5 foot floater. His ability to quickly get into the lane also caused his defender to foul him throughout the game as well. His ability to explode around the rim was impressive as well. Clark was always around the ball for rebounds, and even threw down a nasty dunk after a missed Phil Pressey three point try. Clark also won the game for his team by once again being around the ball. With 1 second to go, Clark again rebounded a missed shot attempt and put then layed the ball up for the win.
TheShiver.com will be covering Clark and others throughout the week
