Kansas commit Ricki Herod has been hard at work since TheShiver first told you that Herod would likely commit to Kansas on April 13th, before making it official on April 15th. Now Herod is preparing to make his way to Lawrence to get an up close and personal look at the program he chose less than two months ago.
“Yeah, I’m coming during the Super Jayhawk camp to check things out,” Herod said. “I’m very excited,” added Herod.
Although his high school team has nothing going on right now, Herod is still hard at work on the field.
“I just got through with 7 on 7 not to long ago. I’ve been up since 6 this morning and started playing football at 7,” Herod said about hitting the field. “So yeah, you can I’m a little tired,” added Herod.
With an upcoming trip to Lawrence this week, Herod should have plenty in the tank to show off the skills that made him the MVP at the Nike Football Training Camp.
