lambHead Coach Steve Smith is entering his 25th season as the coach of Oak Hill Academy, which is one of the most prestigious high school basketball programs in the country. Smith has successfully built a program that players across the nation want to be a part of, in order to get an education both on and off the court. One such player is New York native Doron Lamb, who just completed his first year at Oak Hill, and now finds himself as one of the top recruits in the 2010 class. royce-woolridge1Kansas commit Royce Woolridge spent the weekend in Long Beach, California at the Pangos All American camp, where his play throughout the weekend got him voted to the ‘Cream of the Crop’ Top 20 All  Star game. Jayhawks Romp over Dartmouth

Kansas got back to its winning ways after a lackluster performance on Friday against Coastal Carolina, mainly on the back of starting pitcher Shaeffer Hall. Hall was dominant through the entire game, as Kansas pulled out an easy victory, 16-0 in the Chapel Hill regional.

Bailey Hoping to Make Kansas Camp

tanner-baileyWinfield, Kansas product Tanner Bailey hasn’t received any offers as of yet, but that could quickly change after hitting some camps in the next few weeks.

The 6′1″ 185 pound quarterback may be from a small Kansas high school (Winfield) but he brings big time athleticism and a big time arm every time he walks on to the field. The Kansas Jayhawks are already in Chapel Hill, NC, and preparing themselves to face off against the 15th ranked Coastal Carolina Chanticleers.  Kansas is more than happy to be back in the NCAA tournament after a two year absence and are making their first appearance since 2006.  Kansas will face off against the Chanticleers at 1PM CST at Boshamer Stadium, which is the home field of the 1 seed North Carolina Tar Heels.
