It’s been an up and down roller coaster over the last 24-48 hours in the Xavier Henry and CJ Henry recruiting saga. Over the last few weeks it has appeared that Kansas and Kentucky were the two programs that the Henry brothers were trying to decide between. Both Kansas Head Coach Bill Self and Kentucky Head Coach John Calipari made trips to New York city this past Saturday to see the Henry brothers after Xavier played in the Jordan Brand Classic.
Now comes news today that the brothers original school is back in the mix for the brothers. MemphisRoar.com reported today that the Henry family and members of the Memphis administration planned on meeting today, even going as far as calling the Tigers a slight leader at this point.
This is certainly news since there was some confusion as to if the brothers would make a trip to Lexington this coming weekend, and then make their final decision shortly after the visit. With the news today, this saga can only grow more interesting by the hour.
As promised, it has become more interesting. Multiple sources are telling TheShiver.com that both Henry brothers will announce their decision to play at Kansas. An announcement could come as early as tomorrow according to sources. We hope to have a full report and word from the Henry family as soon as the decision becomes public.
