Going Bowling, Again
It’s the Big XII
The folks in the state of Kansas would surely love for the Kansas versus Kansas State football game to be the headliner in the Big XII today, but the sunflower showdown ranks 3rd in this weeks tilt. The battle in west Texas is not only the headliner in the Big XII, but the nations eyes will be on the Longhorns and Red Raiders as well. Both teams, 8-0, are eyeing a trip to Kansas City and a possible trip to the BCS Championship game. Last time both team met when they were undefeated, Texas won on their way to the National Championship. Texas QB, Colt McCoy, completed 38 passes last week, including 18 in a row. McCoy has been unbelievable this season passing the ball, but don’t sleep on his running abilities. McCoy now has 2500 or more yards in 3 seperate seasons for the first time in Texas history.
