As of this second, we still expect Xavier Henry’s decision to be announced on ESPNU this Friday. Xavier is expected to choose between Kansas and Memphis. Henry’s brother, C.J., was once committed to Kansas before playing professional baseball instead. C.J. is now enrolled at Memphis, where he will be playing basketball. Both brothers have said that C.J.’s decision to play at Memphis won’t have an impact on Xavier’s decision.
A lot rides on Xavier’s decision for Kansas. The Jayhawks would very much like to land a wing, but if Henry chooses Memphis, that could leave the Jayhawks hoping that either Michael Snaer or Dominic Cheek chooses Kansas.
Snaer has said that he is still undecided and Cheek still looks to be a Villanova lean. If Kansas somehow strikes out on all three recruits, the Jayhawks could look to put all of their focus on John Wall in the spring. If Kansas lands one of the three wings, the Jayhawks will likely still be going after Wall in hopes he signs in the spring.
EDIT**** The announcement has been put on hold and looks to be next week. It appears that Xavier has not healed like he had hoped from his accident, but will hopefully be good to go by next week.

Also i agree that wall probably will not sign considering our depth at point with johnson and tyshawn taylor ( who is surprisingly amazing) and sherron…….But lets hope for the best………ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK
